PSD Plumbing Successfully Completes Extensive Fire Service Upgrade in Travancore

PSD Plumbing is proud to announce the successful completion of the Travancore Fire Service Upgrade, a large-scale project that has significantly improved both the domestic and commercial water infrastructure for the Travancore community in Melbourne. The project, which commenced in early September, lasted for five weeks and involved the collaboration of key stakeholders, including local water authorities, to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of essential upgrades.

The Travancore Fire Service Upgrade required PSD Plumbing to take on the complex task of upgrading the commercial fire service and domestic water manifold. This critical infrastructure ensures that both residential and commercial properties have reliable access to water services, as well as an upgraded fire protection system. To facilitate this challenging operation, PSD Plumbing organised the hire of a 30-tonne Franna Crane and a portable 3000W industrial generator. These vital pieces of equipment allowed the team of five highly skilled plumbing professionals to complete the heavy lifting and power-intensive tasks efficiently. The Franna Crane was instrumental in maneuvering and installing the upgraded components, while the generator ensured that the team could work seamlessly, even in areas without easy access to power sources.
